The power of storytelling through photography

From My Journal
My Journal
Stories from the road, the people I meet and the pictures behind the pictures — written in my own words.

Behind the lens
The camera is never the beginning.
The work starts with listening, patience and respect — creating space for stories to reveal themselves in their own time. When trust is present, authenticity follows.
Those in front of my lens are not subjects; they are storytellers. Together, we shape images grounded in dignity, honesty and shared experience.
From urban Nairobi to the wide-open landscapes of the Maasai Mara, I remain guided by one belief: Africa’s stories are best told from within.
Let’s start a conversation.
For commissions, collaborations, exhibitions, speaking engagements and books.
